Anthony's 4th grade had a field trip planned to visit the State Capitol. Kim Cahoon (one of my dear friends) is the governor's daughter so I asked her if her mom or dad could possibly meet with the 4th graders from Morgan. She arranged it for us (bless you Kim) and the 4th graders met with the First Lady of Utah in the Gold Room.

My favorite part of the day was when the First Lady opened it up to questions. Here are some of the questions the kids asked:
1. How much was this room?
2. How much is each marble pillar in the hallway?
3. How much do you have to pay a month for this building?
4. If you took all of the gold in this room, would you have enough money to buy a house?
5. How much was the painting on the ceiling?
6. How much are the stairs in the hallway?
7. How much is the table in this room?
8. What is the guy's name in the corner? (The security guard)
9. I bet you have a pretty good security system here, huh?
The First Lady didn't know the answer to the majority of the questions and she kept giggling about it. Too cute! :)
