Somebody loves their daddy.

Chillin' in the pool.  I love Ethan's pose here.

Brynn and Cate entered the Steel Days Art Contest.  Cate took 3rd place in mixed media for her son picture behind her.

Brynn took 1st place for her birch trees picture in the mixed media category.

Brynn took 3rd place for her watercolor tree.

Brynn and Cate each won a cash prize, a certificate from the mayor and Miss American Fork presented them with their awards.

Deacon's Scout Camp to Maple Dell

Anthony turned 12 this year and went into Deacons.  His Deacon's Quorum has about 20 boys and they went to Maple Dell for Scout Camp.  I didn't get a picture of the entire group but it will be coming.  Brother Reid and Brother Anderson were the leaders.  I was only able to get a few pictures when they returned home.  Ethan was SO excited to go pick Anthony up at the church.  When Ethan saw him, he jumped into Anthony's arms and laid his head on his shoulder.  He stayed that way for about 20 minutes and wouldn't come back to me.  One of the leaders said, "Anthony must be a good brother."  Yes he is, Mr. Leader.  Yes he is.  :)

Teacher's High Adventure Camp (Bryce Canyon)

Chad is now the Teacher's Quorum leader, so he took his 18 boys on a high adventure trip.  They went to Bryce Canyon and biked, hiked, fished, camped and played.  Brian Blackhurst and Trevor Sharp came along and made all the delicious food.  They even had homemade cinnamon rolls that they warmed up with their seat warmers (pretty creative).  Brother Adamson, Brother Groves and Brother VanAusdal were helping leaders.

So cool.
