First Day of School

Anthony started 5th grade this year with Mr. Hadlock.
Brynn started 2nd grade this year with Mrs. Roundy and Mrs. Perry.
Cate had to start Kindergarten a week later, but she went out to the bus stop with the kids the entire week before her school started.  Needless to say, she was SO excited to start Kindergarten.
Brynn and Cate hugged every day before the bus would come.

FINALLY!  The 1st day of Kindergarten.

At the bus stop with her neighbors, Micah and Levi Cannon.  Could this get any cuter?
Showing off their backpacks.  Their bus comes an hour early before school because they have to pick up all the kids in Morgan.  I asked Cate if she wanted me to put something in her backpack that she could do on the bus.  The answer was "NO!"  She wanted to talk with her friends.  :)

Levi was such a gentleman.

As Brady was waiting at the bus stop I realized that I didn't take my traditional first day of school picture.  I ran out to the bus stop and in front of all of Brady's friends I made him pose.  Let me tell you how excited he was to take this picture (it's blurry because it was from my phone).  He friends said to him, "Oh Brady, you look so cute."  :)

Summer Stuff

Ethan loves our steam shower.  He fell asleep in it one day.
Michelin Man Baby

We had a BYU dinner for Jessica before she heads off to college.
Nan and Ethan
Kim and Jake did a "U" sign in the middle of a "Y" dinner.

The Tour of Utah came right by our house.

I love this picture of Brynn and Cate reading to Ethan in his Bumbo.

Grandma Sher and Ethan
We had a surprise 113th birthday for Grandma Sher.  She wouldn't tell us how old she was so I put "113" on her cake.

Brynn's 8th Birthday

There are a few sentences that make me really happy when my kids say them:
"Mom, I cleaned my room without being asked."
"Mom, I love what you made for dinner."
"Mom, the Publisher's Clearinghouse guy is standing at the door with balloons."
"Mom, I want to wear my same costume from last year."
But especially,
"Mom, I want to have the same Rapunzel party like Cate did last year."

Well, Brynn turned eight on August 14th and she wanted to have a Rapunzel party like Cate.  I was THRILLED because I saved most of the stuff from the party.  Here are a few highlights from Brynn's birthday.
Brynn's only wish was to have her own barbie house so her barbies could go visit Cate's barbies.  I had so much fun with this barbie house.  Chad said this 4 sided, 3 level house was more for me than Brynn...........he might be right.  :)

The Master Bedroom.  Cate was so excited that it had a "two-er" bed.

Rapunzel's hair

The girl's painted flowers on canvases.

Flynn and Rapuzel jello boats.

Rapunzel's braid bread.

Their paintings turned out SO cute!

Grandma Sher stayed with us to help with the party.
I think the best part of Brynn's day was a surprise visit from her BFF.  Grace drove all the way from Cedar Hills to surprise Brynn at her party.  Brynn said to Grace, "I would rather have you as my surprise than a mansion."

A very sad goodbye.
We hid Grace in Brynn's bedroom for a surprise.  Here is Brynn's reaction to her best friend's visit.  Too cute!
