More Morgan Memories

Congrats to Anthony for receiving his Bear in Scouting!
It is a tradition here in Morgan to paint the faces of each boy who earns their Bear.

Dad decided to take over the painting.

Although the paint looks really cute, Anthony had an allergic reaction to it.
Cate is my little chef.  Here she is sporting a new cooking outfit from the Reid's.
The other day Cate asked me for tape and started walking out of the house.  She told me, "Don't worry mom.  I will be outside for a little while, but don't worry.  Just do what you were doing."  I was a little curious as to what she was doing, so I watched her from the window.  I saw her walk around the yard and start pulling at weeds.  About 15 minutes later she walked into the house and handed me this dead flower with a cute note.  She said, "Mom, this was the only flower that I could find for you."  Yeah.......love her.  :)
Brynn had her dream come true this week.  Grace Miller (her BFF) came to visit from Cedar Hills.  They hugged and hugged when they saw each other and teared up when they had to leave each other.

Book of Mormon Challenge

Chad challenged each of our family members to read The Book of Mormon individually before we moved into our new home.  We told the kids that if they decided to take the challenge, we would go to Tepanyaki and have a special night together.  Amazingly enough, all of the kids read The Book of Mormon on their own.  Cate couldn't read the scriptures yet, so she listened to all of The Book of Mormon stories on lds.org.  Every time I read this book, I gain an even stronger testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Brynn was very dedicated.

Happy Birthday Brady (.....and Jessica........and me :).

Well, it's birthday week here at the Carnesecca household.  I can't believe Brady is actually 12--it seems like yesterday that Brady was born weighing only 5 lb. 11 oz.  Here are 12 reasons why I love Brady:
1.  Brady is honest.  I love this about Brady and I know he has learned this quality from his dad.  Sometimes Brady is called "Honest Brade."  :)
2.  Brady is compassionate and kind.  I often tell Brady that he has more compassion in his little finger than I will ever have.
3.  Brady is smart.  I mean.........really smart.
4.  Brady is good.  Brady has always wanted to do what is right.  He lives his life with integrity.  There is no grey area in Brady's world.  He sees life in black and white.
5.  Brady is brave.  Not only does he dare try new things, but he is willing to stick up for what he believes in and doesn't go along with the crowd.
6.  Brady is service.  Brady is always looking for ways that he can serve others.
7.  Brady is a great example to his brother(s) and sisters.  He is the BEST babysitter we have because we know we can trust him.
8.  Brady is fun.  If there is something fun, Brady wants to be included.
9.  Brady knows how to laugh.  We love laughing together.
10.  Brady loves the Lord.
11.  Brady tries his best in all that he does.
12.  Brady is my right hand man.  I don't know what I would ever do without him.
Love you, Brady Allen!!!!
For our St. Patrick's Day birthdays, we went with the family to MacCool's (an Irish restaurant).  Jessica is displaying the cool cheese potatoes they bring to every table.
Jessica wanted to be really Irish so she ordered the corned beef and cabbage.
The 3 Irish St. Patrick's Day babies in front of the Irish flag.
The Irish Owner of the restaurant took a picture with Jessie.  :)

Brady is drinking out of a beer cup that Grandma Sher gave to him.  By the way, he's not that Irish.........we didn't let him put beer in it.  :)
Brady was ordained to the Aaronic Priesthood on Sunday, March 18th.  It was such a special day.  Before Brady was ordained, the bishop asked each of us to share our testimonies of the gospel.  It was so tender.  Chad gave a beautiful blessing to Brady accompanied by the Bishop and Landon Walker.

Brady was ordained in the Rock Church in Morgan by his daddy.  Don't they look handsome in their new suits?  :)

This picture was taken after sitting in church for three hours and crying like a baby during the ordination.  Let's just say, I took one for the team in this picture.  :)
Brady is a great example to his brother (almost brothers) and sisters.

We were so lucky to have Grandma Carnesecca with us during the ordination.
Brady's favorite cake.

My favorite part of my birthday was this card that I received from Brady.  Honestly, he couldn't have given me a better birthday present.  Love you birthday buddy!

Happy Birthday Cate!!!!

Cate's 5th birthday was on March 15th and here are 5 reasons why I am SO glad she was born:
1.  Cate is love.  It is common for us to sit around the table at dinnertime and have Cate go around, one by one, and tell us how much she loves us.
2.  Cate is joy.  Cate wakes up with a smile on her face.  Her smile and energy can truly light up a room.
3.  Cate is service.  Cate thinks more about others than herself.  While I have been pregnant, she makes sure I am taken care of.  She often gives me cotton ball and lotion massages on my feet.  When we are watching a movie, she makes sure that I get the best spot.  If something falls on the floor, she runs over to pick it up so I don't have to bend.
4.  Cate is fun.  The kids love to be with Cate because she is quick to giggle and loves to have fun.
5.  Cate is great.  That truly says it all.  I don't know what our family would do without her.  We love you C.C.!
For Cate's birthday, I let Brynn and Anthony stay home with Cate to play with her.  She was in heaven!

Cate chose to have a Tinkerbell birthday even though she rarely plays with Tinkerbell.

I tried to come up with cheap games and the little girls loved the tray game where you hide something from the tray and they have to figure out what it was.

I can't believe she is 5!
