End of School

We are so glad that SHIVERS opened up by our home.  It is a cool treat on a hot day.

Cate did her report on the horse and she brought a bridle and bit to class during her oral report.

Anthony had to make a piece of a wall for the Renaissance Fair.

The 6th Graders at Shelley Elementary were put into small groups of five or less to make documentary movies on a 19th or 20th Century War.  Anthony's group chose World War II.  Our family went to our local Towne Cinema Theatre to watch the documentaries.  While we were there, Mr. Engles (Anthony's teacher) told the audience that Anthony's film was chosen to be in the "Through My Lens" Documentary Premiere in Salt Lake City at the Tower Theatre.  Anthony's group was the only one chosen to represent Shelley Elementary School and his film was being shown with high school student films.  Anthony was the director of his amazing project.  Way to go Ant!

Anthony with his teacher, Mr. Engles.

Anthony's friend and documentary co-producer, Justin Corbridge.

Cate's dream was to visit her first grade class in Morgan.  Mrs. Tyrell was so cute because she had each of the students make a card for Cate and she let Cate tell the class about her adventures in American Fork. :)

Brynn visited her former class with Mrs. Belliston.  The students were able to do a question and answer period.  The students in Morgan were surprised at how big Brynn's school was in American Fork.

We stopped by the Pretzel Maker in Morgan.

Steph's is now J's with a new look and a new menu.

Our former home in Morgan - how weird to see it without us in it.

Hello Paul the Barber - we miss you!

Larry's Spring Chicken Inn has a new look as well.

This was new to Morgan, a Trax rental shop.

Anthony, Brynn and Cate had an end of year Dance Festival.  Ethan and I were sitting down ready for the festivities to begin when all of a sudden a character from Dr. Seuss decided to sit down right in front of me.  Not only did she have a massive hat, but she brought a bar stool to sit on - in the FRONT row.  Hmmmm.

Anthony was so embarrassed when I crossed the yellow tape and took a picture of him in front of his peeps.

Cate danced to a Despicable Me theme.

Oops!  Her shoelace is untied.

Brynn danced to "Happy."

Ethan with his signature pose with his eyes closed.  Maybe he has had a bad experience with the flash in his eyes.  Who knows.

Anthony was less than thrilled to dance to a Grease theme.

On their way to church.

Cute cousins.

Ethan hangin' with his girl cousins.

Yeah, love him.

Happy Graduation!  Cate graduated from 1st, Brynn from 3rd, Anthony from 6th and Brady from 8th.

Brynn and her teacher, Mrs. Alger.

Cate with her teacher, Mrs. Larsen.

Brady with his buddies, Kaden and Dallin.

E is so happy for the graduates.

I held our annual schools-out party in our new neighborhood.  I didn't know what to think when I saw cars pull up, drop their kids off and drive away.  I wanted to say, "Wait!  I said party not babysitting service."  :)  Oh well, I hope the kids had fun.
